Privacy Policy — Users

Applies to patients who create a Doctoury account to find doctors or pharmacies, book appointments, chat, or order medication.

Information We Collect

Account info: name, email, phone number, date of birth, gender, blood type.
Health information: medical history, conditions, allergies, lab reports you upload, prescriptions.
Usage data: appointment history, order history, chat messages.
Device data: device type, OS, push notification token (via OneSignal).
Location: city and area you provide — we do not track your GPS continuously.

How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account; to connect you with doctors and pharmacies; to send appointment reminders and order notifications; to display your medical information to your treating doctor (with your consent); and to improve platform performance via anonymous analytics (Firebase Analytics).

Who Can Access Your Information

The doctor you book an appointment with (only relevant health info), the pharmacy you place an order with (only order and prescription details), and Doctoury's authorized technical staff for platform support. We do not sell your data to any third party.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase (Firestore & Storage), which uses industry-standard encryption.

Push Notifications

We use OneSignal to send you appointment reminders, order updates, and important alerts. You can disable notifications anytime from device settings.

Video Calls

Video consultations are powered by Agora. Call data is not recorded or stored by Doctoury.

Your Rights

You may access personal data held about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and data, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@doctoury.com.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Children

Our platform is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

We may update this policy. You will be notified of significant changes via the app.

Privacy Policy — Doctors & Clinics

Applies to licensed medical professionals who register on Doctoury to offer consultations and manage patients.

What We Collect

Professional info: name, specialty, qualifications, license number, uploaded documents.
Account info: email, phone number, profile photo.
Clinical data: availability, appointment history, prescriptions issued, earnings.
Device data: device type, push notification token (OneSignal).
Analytics: anonymized platform usage data (Firebase Analytics).

How We Use It

To display your profile to patients searching for doctors; to manage appointments, video calls, and chat; to process payments and generate earnings reports; to send notifications about appointments and platform updates; and to verify your credentials and maintain platform integrity.

Who Has Access

Patients can view your public profile (name, specialty, photo, rating, availability) but cannot see your private documents or financial data. Doctoury's authorized staff can access data for verification and support purposes. We do not sell your professional data to third parties.

Document Storage

Documents you upload for verification (license, certificates) are stored securely on Firebase Storage. They are accessed only by authorized Doctoury staff for verification purposes.

Video Calls

Video consultations use Agora. Calls are not recorded or stored by Doctoury.

Your Rights

Privacy Policy — Pharmacy

Applies to licensed pharmacies that register on Doctoury to receive and fulfill patient medication orders.

What We Collect

Business info: pharmacy name, address, location, working hours, license documents.
Staff info: staff names and roles you register.
Account info: contact email, phone number, profile photo.
Operational data: order history, reviews received, offers posted.
Device data: push notification token (OneSignal).

How We Use It

To display your pharmacy to patients searching nearby; to manage orders, notifications, and chat; to verify your license and maintain platform integrity; to show your location on the map to nearby patients; and to send order and platform notifications.

Who Has Access

Patients can view your public profile (name, location, hours, rating, offers) but cannot see your internal documents or financial data. Doctoury's authorized staff can access data for verification and support.

Patient Data You Handle

As a pharmacy on the platform, you receive limited patient data (name, order details, prescription) for order fulfillment only. You are responsible for handling this data in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

Document Storage

License and verification documents are stored securely on Firebase Storage and accessed only by authorized Doctoury staff.

Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data anytime by contacting info@doctoury.com. Account deletion removes your profile and personal data within 30 days.
